A postage stamp - the postal service started in Victorian times.

A print of the census - any of the census pages would count as all the ones we now have access to were taken in Victorian times. Go to ancestry dot com the 1881 census is free to view, you might find an ancestor.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. We re taking a copy of The Young Visters by Daisy Ashford, which was written in 1890 by a 9-year-old girl.
