My DD is in year 5 at an independent school and will sit the 11+ this time next year. I'm not sure if she will pass , she is fairly academic and works hard. A large number of children left our school for Thorpe Hall this year, we hadn't really considered it but it might be an option for us if she doesn't pass the 11+.
Our catchment school is Belfairs. Does anyone have experience of either school?
She has her heart set on Southend High but we need to consider other options as well.
