Hi my daughter is going to be looking for state sixth form soon, either in a secondary or a college. We are based in Merton. She is in top sets/predicted good grades but no idea what she wants to do. Ideally co-ed, where university potential kids are given good guidance and get good results.
Please share your experiences and advice!

@Playdoughcaterpillar , if your dc is in year 11 make sure you note the closing application dates, Esher College's will be in a couple of weeks at end of Sept.

Ricards Lodge (girls) in Merton has a mixed 6th form with Rutlish RR6. Over 80% go onto Uni with about a quarter to Russell Gp. Although it's strengths are performing arts it is a really good school and the sixth form combined with Rutlish seems like a great finish to girls education. Graveney sixth form in Wandsworth i think doesn't have the banding it has in lower years but it is also a great school. About 7 got Oxbridge offers in 2023. Harder to get to though depending on where you are in Merton. My information is from other friends DCs at these schools. Good luck!

Tiffin School? Takes girls into the sixth form. London Oratory does same (if Catholic).

Depending where you are in Merton maybe Greenshaw in Sutton.

Thanks. We are catholic but I really didn't like the head of LO when we considered it for my son at Y7.
