RIGHT I NEED HELP TO WRITE A PIECE OF COURSEWORK ON STALIN AND LENIN PLEASE

So i have to do a piece of coursework writing about their similarities and differances in their leaderships.....help is needed as i am all befuddled

MO i have no idea to be honest with you, i started the college in september and am starting the exams in may...april is the deadline for coursework so i am just trying to get through it as well as juggle family life...i am doing four subjects english,history,psychology and sociology, which for history i have 2 seperate classes so have double the coursework.I am hopefully planning to do my A levels in september if i pass my exams,which will only be 7 months as well

Ok Fawkeoff, I can understand this can be frustrating but I am not going to spoon feed you the answers as part of the point is learning how to do it yourself. There is a real skill in learning how to sift through lots of information and use it to structure and essay. I would say that is the hardest part of studying history. You will not be alone is feeling lost, as your course progresses it will get easier. However, I will help with the basics. If it were me I would need to examine the difference and similarities between Lenin's and Stalin's ideologies, just as you have said you are planning to do. I would also want to examine their main policies whilst in power to find similarites and difference. Think about collectivism, industrialisation, policies towards the intelligencia etc, there are more but as I said its up to you to decide what to include. I would also want to bear in mind that Stalin was in power for a lot longer than Lenin so of course any comparison between the two is limited. Once you are happy that you have enough material you can either structure an essay in the style MB has suggested or discuss each main point in its own paragraph, e.g Paragraph one; similarities and difference betweens Lenins and Stalins political ideologies. Your introduction would need to explain the main themes of your essay and the arguments you plan to take and your conclusion would need to sum it all up. Dont forget there are load os GCSE websites out there that may also be of help to you. Good luck!

Sorry, this is going to sound harsh and it's not meant to, but how do you think you're going to cope with A levels if you find research at this level so hard to manage with other commitments?
