Can anyone advise please? My son resat his English GCSE after failing it last year. He did it through a training centre which has gone into liquidation since he sat the exams. He has not received his certificates and I think that they may have been sent to the dissolved training centre so he still doesn't know if he has passed or not. He needs the certificates to enrole at college next week, can anyone suggest what we can do? TIA

Contact the examination board.

Young adult daughter recently bought her 1st property, a lovely little flat in a nice area. There’s 2 flats on her landing, hers and another young woman’s flat opposite hers. About 3 weeks ago , having not seen her neighbour she decided to introduce herself with a note, she bought a pretty card and wrote in it hi my name’s Lisa I’m your new neighbour at number xx , it would be nice to meet you please feel free to give me a knock if you would like to meet or pop in for a coffee (she put her mobile number on in case her neighbour wanted to accept/decline or simply message something else). The neighbour has not responded at all. To make matters worse my dd was just leaving her flat when said neighbour was going in and the neighbour completely blanked her. Am I being over sensitive or dies anyone else think the neighbour is ignorant.

Well, you need to see the neighbour's GCSE certificates to decide if she's ignorant or not.
Meanwhile, I would assume she wants to keep to herself and isn't looking to make friends.

Perhaps you daughter should post her GCSE certificate as well, so the neighbour knows she’s educated.

DD was just trying to be neighbourly not necessarily to look for friends as she has plenty of friends. I didn’t really get why you’re commenting on GCSEs but now realise I inadvertently hijacked a thread, I didn’t do this intentionally I’m new to this , it was an innocent mistake. Not sure if the GCSE comments are an attempt at humour or sarcasm either way they’re not helpful!!!

@Mossey55 you need to start your own thread in the AIBU forum, not hyjack someone else's completely unrelated thread in the Education forum.

I know that now, I’m completely new to this, it’s the first time I have ever posted anything and I inadvertently, unintentionally hijacked a thread. Sorry I actually don’t know how to start a thread but I won’t post again so that I don’t hijack again

You just need to navigate to the aibu forum (https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/am_i_being_unreasonable) then click "Add Thread" as shown in the picture.

I think you must have clicked "Add post" instead.
