ISEB prep?

Just registered my DS for ISEB and wondering which online platform you have used for prep?

I was thinking Atom but have also just seen Bond Online Premium Plus is the only online ref practice platform endorsed by ISEB. Is that true?

Any thoughts appreciated!

I'd like to know too. Is your DC sitting this year?

Lonestar123 · 08/08/2023 12:17

My son did ISEB last year and did really well in the exam. He basically just did loads of ATOM practice which worked well. Hope that helps x

We did Atom and BOFA alternate months and it worked well. I think you need two different platforms to practise tbh.

Just curious on why you think you need two different platforms?

Thanks all.

@ItsRainingTacos79 yes he is. Haven't started him on it yet as sitting 11+ as well. Hoping doing atom/bond/bofa will be good to get him used to the format.

I feel you get too comfortable (with the format and types of questions) on one platform. We saw loads of repeating questions on Atom after a while. Switching platforms will challenge their thinking more.

@TypsTrycks thanks, will take a look at Bofa.

There are other platforms beyond Atom and BOFa as well. Education Quizzes, A Testing Time and Question Mix are recommended by some schools.

Tutoring is not necessary for ISEBs, but may help with written papers.
