I am trying to help a woman whose son has been removed from the roll of DS's school against her wishes. It's quite complicated, and I'm going to need to talk to the school/LA on her behalf. I have a letter which I drafted, and which she's signed, which says that I am acting as her independent representative and that the school/LA have her permission to discuss any matters pertinent to his case with me.

Is this enough, do you think? Time is of the essence so any replies would be v gratefully received..

Has he been excluded? If so, has she appealed?

So sorry Bubble99, my computer is buggered and I've started two threads by accident - if it's okay I am going to answer this on the other one here
