School performance 2023?

Potaytoe5 · 12/07/2023 13:29

Does anybody know if the current school performance tables are getting updated soon?
I checked on the gov website today, the latest results are still those from 2019.
I was thinking it would be about now?
I'm talking about primaries. Thanks!

In addition to the above, in terms of timing, Performance data by primary school is normally (pre-pandemic) published in December, I think.

@PatriciaHolm thanks, I thought I'd read somewhere it should be now.

@Potaytoe5 schools and children get their results now (see BBC News - Sats results 2023: Reading standards fall in Year 6 tests
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-66041645) and can publicise their own headline results if they want to, but the official stats need to be collated and validated before they are published later in the year.

Some parents and teachers said this summer's reading paper was so tough it left children in tears.

Some primary schools near me have published their own results (up to 2022) on their website so look there or ask directly.

Hello, does anybody know if it's still planned for the latest results to be published and when?

Aspasia3 · 01/12/2023 13:35

Thank you! Does anyone also know if and when the Times will publish its guide for primary schools? I can see the one for secondaries is out today, but I would expect the one for primaries to be based on gov data after they're published?
