Hi, I'm not sure if this is in the right thread, ds (8) has been offered some work with a radio station. He's bright and articulate, however, he can be one of those energetic, obnoxious, over enthusiastic boys when he chooses and I am concerned about him embarassing his school. I need to phone and let them know tomorrow, have no idea whether to let him or not.

avenanap could you not go state? there are lots of high achieving regular and faith primaries, he has a long way to go if you are struggling with the fees now.

No, he's a shrimp and at least 2 years ahead. Private schools keep throwing scholarships and bursaries at me, except for his. The old head offered me one before he started for his last 2 years, I was going to remind her when I recieved a letter saying she'd sold the school. Have not told new head as she didn't write it down, I think it was a ploy to get him into the school. I'm going to have to move him in September

I like the idea of a radio station scaryteacher. I'm going to email though so that I can stop this torture.
