AStar equivalency tests

Has anyone taken the GCSE equivalency tests?
I need to pass maths before September for my teacher training course and am wondering if I should buy the whole package or just sit the test.

Is the package helpful or can I find most of it online?
Is it possible to do it in this short space of time and how hard did you find it?

My maths is dire. 😩

I had to do the same - I just sat the test - and revised for 6 weeks straight - every evening / night for hours!
It helped that I worked in a school so I had a maths teacher colleague on hand to help!

I can easily say that it was an horrific 6 weeks it I did it!

I used a KS4 textbook and went through every page

After 3 goes in my teens I did it (50) and today I taught a Maths intervention (v basic level though!)

Thank you mum. It is going to be hellish with 3 children and working. I also work in school so might see if I can get any help.

Why do I need maths to teach RE ? 😭

I had the interview and mini teach today and was offered a place on the course in September so feel very proud of myself. I'm just soooooo rubbish with maths.😤

Is any one ever booked and attempted A star equivalency Paper base exam online?

I am worried about my science equivalency test. I booked paper based but it would be online. Invigilater will see me doing it online. I don't know how it would be delivered and it will go. I am very nervous. Can some one tell me if any one has experience of it? Are these paper sealed with answer sheets too or I will get question papers only!
