Lambrook School - current experiences?

We’ve been offered a place at Lambrook to start reception in Sept 2024. We paid the deposit last year and now are questioning if we’re still happy with the choice. Our concerns are a) is the school too pushy in the pre-prep b) have the royals being there changed the school c) do only the extroverted/sporty/confident succeed there. Any idea of what it’s like from current parents would be really appreciated.

I think it's an excellent school but I would avoid it purely on the basis of the royal children being there. I think it would lead to a constant atmosphere of weirdness and competition. And I'd worry about added security presence, media etc (might not even happen but I would expect it to). That area is stuffed with brilliant independent prep schools. I'd choose a different one.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree about the impact from the royals. I’ve been to the other similar co-eds and don’t love any of them, or at least not for the pre-prep. Trying to work out what our other options would be.

I looked at the website after the royal children started last year. It looks idyllic, really gorgeous but I guess it will be very hard to get an inside info now..
