Autism support in north London secondary’s

My son is in yr 5, and I’m starting to get really worried about secondary schools. His primary is great, and he loves it there.
He has an Autism diagnosis (would be Asperger’s in old money), which has so far caused him few challenges in his current supportive environment. I want to keep it that way!!
He has low support needs, is academically able, and good at music.
I feel the supposed choice of schools is making things even harder. Do we move house now to be in catchment for somewhere like Alexandra Park School? Do we try the music aptitude tests at Ashmole Academy or Dame Alice Owens? Do we try academic entrance exams (even though he has not had a tutor, and I fear it would be pressure for nothing)? Do we even apply for a social and emotional EHCP and try to name a school with good pastoral care and great music provision??
Does anyone have any insight into the real story behind North London schools’ pastoral care / SEN provision?
Help me, hive mind!!
