Salesian college

I have a year 5 son and looking at alternatives to the Fleet state schools. I have heard that Salesian College might be an option, but know there is an entrance exam. Is it hard to get into? I’d be interested in views?

My son is at Salesian and is thriving there. There is a strong emphasis on community which i really like. The entrance exam is not too taxing, my son was in a Fleet state school and we didn't get tutors etc, I did get some books to do practise questions. I'm very happy with the school. There are lots of boys that attend that come from local state schools and there are several transport options (school bus or train + school minibus from Farnborough main). Keep an eye out for the open days.
