Any one can share your comment or experience in this grammar school in York?

Is it not in Ripon rather than York?

It used to be better than Northallerton but that was a hundred years ago <helpful> 😬

I attended and number of my friends who were there have children who now attend. Not a lot seems to have changed; academic children and sporty types are well supported; anyone else plods along. Teaching quality seems good to fair to middling and pastoral has never been top
of the game - I work in education as do the friends whose children are there and we all feel we have been carried by the “grammar name” at times - but it is the better provision in the area which is why my friends Send their children.
