DS (yr 4) has an informal assessment for a school next week. He will do a CAT 4 test and a 20 minute piece of creative writing. How can I help him prepare for the latter? His spelling is pretty iffy but he’s got great ideas and writes lovely stories.
Can anyone offer insight on what the task might be? He’s been working with a tutor on coming up with good writing based on an image - might it be similar to this?
Any experience appreciated.
