Bromley waiting lists? (secondary)

Anyone had any movement/news regarding Bromley waiting lists in 2023?

Hi we’ve had quite a bit of movement but still waiting ! How about you ?

@Appletonsa which one you waiting for? what one you been given? still no news this end

We’re waiting for Harris Beckenham. Moved from 15 to 6 band 9. So some movement! But only 7 places in that band..

We’ve seen quite a lot of movement also, we are 18 waiting list for Bullers but of course the first and second round have finished so we will have to wait and see.
The school we have been offered has very mixed reviews but I think it is from an old reputation. Trying to take it at face value.

We have been offered Eden Park High. It was 5th choice and a bit of a wildcard. We have since been hearing lots of negative talk and see their awful Progress 8 score so finding it hard to be positive about DC going there. Finding all very stressful. Really don’t want to move DC after September but think we might need to play long game with waiting lists. But time yet so definitely hoping there will be more movement…

We have Ravensbourne 3rd choice, which is part of the same trust.
It’s on the up but it can’t seem to shift it’s old reputation, however I have a lot of teacher contacts who have said it’s a great school.
I think the trust is on the up! Hopefully it will all work out in the end.

Hi, sorry to revive an old post but can I ask you whether you got a place at bullers in the end? we are no 16 in the waiting list and wondering if we have a chance!
