My son is really interested in doing this. We spoke to the local college and it sounds perfect for him.

It definitely seems a very interesting course. My son is enjoying it but he has to design a leaflet on presentation styles and he's a bit unsure what to do

It seemed to attract less academic students and suggest you look at progression as to how many move into related careers, if that is the ambition of your dc.

That’s exactly why it’s perfect for him! He has always wanted to go into the military and we don’t want him doing it until he’s 18 so this looks a great stop gap.

@EssexCat Ask the college where their students move on to and the military what skills they expect students to have gained.

Thank you we will. It’s mainly the police round here, but he’s a military cadet as well so that side is covered there.

It’s basically a way for him to get the 64 ucas points he needs to join at the level he wants to, whilst actually enjoying and being interested in what he’s learning.
