Independent School Waitlists

Hi, Our Dd has been placed on the waitlist for Bradfield College. An ideas in the likelihood of a place? We're really hopeful but want to be realistic.

Hello - I wonder if you ever got offered a place?
My daughter applied late and was offered a place on the waitlist today the email sounded hopeful an offer would come over the next few months.

From my understanding there's loads of movement.

We've had 2 offers so far but other schools haven't even gotten to offer stage.

So obviously we won't be alone in holding potential places. Although I'm unsure if schools over offer based on that knowledge?

Schools know how much movement there will be and how many places they will be able to give to the waiting list so if you are on the list, you stand a very good chance of getting a place. DDs HT told us if she went on the list she would get a place, and she did.
