Rookwood School, Andover. Any feedback?

That's it really - does anyone have any current or very recent experience, good or bad? Thanks

Very much an entry level school and in an area with lots of better alternatives I’m not sure why you would choose Rookwood unless you lived in Andover and wouldn’t travel out of town. The Test Valley is awash with great prep schools and strong on both boarding and day options for senior. The better alternatives aren’t even necessarily more expensive ( although some certainly are); the Salisbury grammars are excellent, as are Winchester state schools.

A few have gone there from my children's primary. All had SEN the local state schools are better for able children. The families who sent children have all done so for SEN reasons only.
It's small and nurturing but no other real benefit I would say. If you want private there are better schools around that tick the private box.
