Hi all,
I live in Brent. My DD goes to a local school. She is a bright kid who loves learning and the past couple of months has complained about kids who are unruly in class disrupting the learning and she feels very put off. I fear the peer group would eventually curb his enthusiasm for learning if she were to continue there, despite the school being certified outstanding. She is a naturally shy and quiet kid and chance of her getting any personal attention to further her abilities in an unruly class of 30 is rather bleak.
She heads to Y3 this September and I realise I may have already missed the chance to apply for Independent schools for the coming year for her.
While secondary is another 3 years down the road, we realise we'd rather start thinking of what are options are, in case we need to move etc ..
Could you please advise me on secondary grammar school options as well as private schools for someone living in Brent?
