Technology, Entertainment, Design.

Is that as in TED talks?

Sounds a bit strange for reception age. I wonder if she is mishearing?

There are four of them doing something called TED some days. I'd say pretty well behaved kids too. I'm being nosey I suppose. This is via my 5 year old but she's quite reliable really Smile

Our tech is being designed by 5 year olds now? Shock

TeenDivided · 09/03/2023 18:03

It could be anything.
Kids go off for interventions all the time.

It could be extension stuff but more likely to be intervention for something whether emotional, physical or educational. My DDs had all sorts over the years (they were well behaved too). Also it could really be for only 1 or 2, but other kids are brought in to make the session work.

Could it be Teddy Talk Time? That's a speech and language intervention.

In safeguarding it means tell, explain, describe. This technique ensures one remains neutral (does not put words into a child's mouth).

I’d imagine it’s NELI a funded language programme, all the activities are Ted based.

Fred Talk - is related to phonics (Read Write Inc).
