Hi everyone, my son aged 11 has been invited for two assessment days at More House in Frensham. Does anyone know what the assessment days are likely to involve? Just so I can prepare him and myself 😬Feeling very hopeful as it seems like the perfect school for him but nervous that he won't get in. He has an EHCP but I'm sure we'll have to take our LA to Tribunal to get them to pay. I'd love to hear from anyone who has been through this process and could offer some advice. Thanks in advance!

My DS had an assessment day at More House at the same age. It was all very informal (from what I could gather from him!) he spent the day with his year group following their TT. He absolutely loved it and came out buzzing. His OT assessment was done on line due to COVID, as was our “interview” with Mr Heatherington. We were offered a place the next day - I nearly cried with relief!

We nearly ended up at tribunal with our LA to get them to pay, but they agreed fairly sharpish when we submitted our appeal documents.

I’m sure your son will love it there. It is an amazing school for the boys who attend, DS was like a different boy after just a few weeks.

Hi sorry for jumping in your post. I’m awaiting response from Morehouse. Just wondering what your experience been with the school and what profile they take. Thank you 😊
