IB and BFI

Does anyone know if this new French IB (BFI) is a qualification that would be recognised and accepted by universities outside of France like the IB is?

Does the BFI mean it's bilingual, so taught in 50% French and 50% English? Most universities have a section on their website with foreign alternatives to A levels and show what their typical offers would look like, so you best check with the universities you/your dc are interested in, as well as for any English language test certificates.
