Hi , We have received positive news and have an offer for 10 plus from KGS. I'm looking to connect with anyone else in the same boat.

Sorry not in the same boat but very interested to hear about your journey getting to the 10+ if you don’t mind.

We are in the area though my son is still very young but seems pretty bright so want to give him the best chance.

When did you decide to peruse KGS for your DC? When & how did you know they were bright? If you had a tutor, how often and when did you start?

What vibes did you get from the school? Are you still considering other options?

@EmJay19 Thank you very much, its a huge relief. We decided to pursue KGS in the end of Year 4 (state school), my son is already preparing for 11 plus so we didn't do any additional preparation for KGS. The only thing we did in the week coming up to the exam was go through the sample papers provided. We started tutoring in Year 4 for 11 plus which was very basic introduction to the concepts. Tbh we weren't expecting the results as its extremely competitive at 10 plus with circa 400 kids for 25 places, but pleasantly surprised :)
