Pregnancy and Uni

Hi, I’m currently in my second year at uni and due my baby in August. I’m just looking for anyone experience with what they did regarding uni … if you took time out and how long if so? My course consists of a block of placement and a lot of presentations so I’m currently looking at taking a year out.

First of all, congratulations! I got pregnant in my first year and gave birth in the July. I took the year out and went back the following September when my baby was 14 months old. Got 85% of my childcare costs paid for by SFE and got a much bigger maintenance loan (along side top-up universal credit) so I found it much easier that I thought it would be. Finishing my 3rd year now
