7+ / 7plus NLCS & HABS

Hi,

For those who have already completed the 7+ process for their daughters, I would welcome some advice/tips on how to go about navigating it all.

Would be grateful to understand what has just come up and previously come up in the 7+ assessments specifically NLCS and HABS girls

Please kindly private message me any Tutors or share on here for us all to benefit from.

Hi, our DD received an offer from NLCS yesterday (7+). She attends a pre-prep but as we had no idea of what to expect, we started prep with a tutor in December the year before. Our tutor was great with her and all about keeping her happy mindful of not putting her off the whole thing by hothousing (despite my pushing, she actually kept ME in check). We did not bother with EPP like many do but she was prepared to a very high standard, think Bond Books 7-8 level in NVR, Maths and English. Some actually do 8-9 level Bond Books but we didn’t have the time.

I would just add that our tutor had so many learning tricks up her sleeves that I would never have been aware of, she completely turned DDs maths around.
