Hi
Is anyone familiar with the schools above? We're looking for a place for my DD. Must be a nurturing school as she is sensitive. She doesn't do well in loud or busy environments as she can get overwhelmed.
Has mild SEN so needs to be a school open to this. Very studious and loves art and drama. She isn't hugely sporty.
Anyone have any feedback? Obviously will see them!
Thank you!

Hi @noodletimesthree
We sent him to Dulwich Prep. He is doing amazingly well. It was definitely the right choice for him. He is like a different child. 🤗

That's brilliant! We are attending the open day for our little one next week.. How have they been with any required SEN support? Our son is ASD spectrum but very mild, possible ADHD also but again mild.. my son needs adequate outdoor time and nothing too academic or pushy.. he freezes under pressure.. overall, it must be nurturing.. he is a sensitive soul so the environment/staff are really important - he was previously at a different prep and it was an awful experience :/ so this next setting needs to work (fingers crossed) we might check out Vinehall too

@noodletimesthree that’s great. I hope you like it. The SEN support is amazing. They just get him. If that makes sense. They’ve recognised right away how bright he is and what he’s strengths and weakness’s are. They positively encourage him along, and give him extra help with the things that he is struggling with. They have also paired him with an amazing teacher. I couldn’t have chosen anyone better for him. She is amazing.
I’m sure you know already that Marlborough House and Vinehall have merged. They will be one school as of this September. They won’t be using Marlborough site anymore.
I’m sorry that your son didn’t have a great experience at his previous school. I understand how important and stressful the whole process is. Wishing you best of luck. 🤗
