distance learning can be beneficial if you can’t attend a physical uni for whatever reason - distance, health, caring responsibilities, or you prefer a more self motivated style like Open Uni.

can’t comment on that specific university but you’d want to look at their success rates, drop out rates, graduate destinations etc

Don't be fooled by "distance learning" being just access to a dodgy website and a crappy "learning pack" though - do your research.

Shout out for the Open University. I did a degree with them when I had two very young children -it was great - I could take my time, I worked in the evenings and their dad had the kids for my study days - which were great fun. Couldn't have done it other than by distance learning.

Materials were top quality, tutor support excellent, on line resources very good and the qualification well respected. It was NOT easy - by any stretch - but well worth it.

I did a distance degree at Exeter and loved it. Lots of group work, with group members all over the world.with so many different experiences really enhanced the discussions. It was si.ilar format to the in person degree that I did, lots of webindars instead of seminars, lectures and work to be completed in between assignments. Would definitely recommend.
