Does anyone have any recent experience of Milton Abbey please? Particularly 6th form. My daughter is diagnosed asd/adhd/low iq and won't be taken into 6th form at her current Dorset boarding school. There looks to be a good choice of non academic subjects at MA so desperately seeking insights into life at the school or other Dorset 6th forms that could cater for her needs.

My son is at Kings Bruton and seems to accommodate those who are academic and those less so. It's a small school of 350. It's about half an hour from Sherborne.

Super school with lots of opportunities for girls who may find more mainstream schools not so easy. My DS girlfriend recently left and loved it, she is now at uni.

Thank you

Milton Abbey has a large intake of pupils at 6th form, largely from pupils wanting to take advantage of their wide range of BTEC's on offer.

So refreshing to have a school offering subjects which actually prepare children for the adult world with practical BTECS. My son is doing Countryside management there, he'll be able to go straight into farm work when he leaves.
