Do you know anyone between the ages of 16-25 with a passion for the natural world and creative flair?
We’re holding a Young Botanical Artist Competition in collaboration with the charity, The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
We’re looking for artwork on the theme of TREES in a botanical (scientific and representational) style. Artists can use any medium they choose. For examples, please visit our website: https://shirleysherwood.com/the-collection
Winners will have their work displayed in the prestigious Shirley Sherwood Gallery, the first exhibition space dedicated to botanical art located in the heart of Kew Gardens. As an added bonus, there are cash prizes of up to £750 and an art supply bundle supported by Seawhite of Brighton!
It's such an exciting opportunity for young, budding artists. Winners will gain huge exposure in the ever-growing genre of botanical art and in times when the preservation of the Earth’s biodiversity is so crucial, it’s such an important time to get involved!
Have a look at our competition page on our website: https://shirleysherwood.com/YoungBotanicalArtist for more information.
Let’s support creativity and a love for nature in the younger generation.
Please give this a share with anyone you think might be interested!
