Non-verbal reasoning aids

Can anyone vouch for these non-verbal reasoning aids.
My Year 4 son is struggling with non-verbal reasoning at school and his teacher has recommended these, but I would like to know if anyone can recommend before purchasing.

I didn’t know schools taught non verbal reasoning!
its a difficult thing to actually teach.
check with your son that he can actual picture things in his head - I can’t and neither can my son, so when I did 11+ prep with him, we approached the cube flipping tasks differently. I have to count them, rather than flipping in my head.

That is just one small part of non verbal reasoning and you could make them yourself

I'd get a workbook, and do the together, talking through how you approach a problem.
