Hi. Has anyone used TayBerry for 7+ exam preparation recently ? How are they? Are they efficient enough? Were you successful in passing the exam with their help? Thanks.

We've used them since the start of the summer (not for 7+, but for 11+ and also help with English for my son who is 6) and been really, really happy. They were a recommendation and I'm so glad I went with them. I've noticed a few people recommending them as they're very popular with the private schools too. I know they've got a 100% pass rate for all the common entrance and 11+ schools near me.

Thanks for your reply @Lovetogarden2022
Really helpful and reassuring to know they are professional enough. All the best to your kids.

Everyone has a 100% pass rate for common entrance lol!

That's the whole point of a prep school. The senior schools do their selections beforehand and if a child tanks the CE the headteacher will ring around senior schools until they can't find one where the CE results are a pass.

I was referring to the private school entrance exams :) My daughter isn't at a prep but at a state primary

@FarmhouseLiving22 Mine is at state primary at the moment too. And thats why I was looking for some good 7+ experienced tutors. Had our trial session with them yesterday and they seemed really expert.

My son is sitting the Westminster 7+ exam in January and he’ll be doing a 7+ revision course with interview prep in December. Children who did the course last year all did really well.
Here’s7+ revision course the details for those also sitting the 7+ exams:

I am new on here and just saw this, I have used Tayberry quite a lot. They prepped DC1 for MGS 7plus and he passed and said he enjoyed the exam 😂 then we moved to London very suddenly this summer and they prepped DC1 for St Pauls 11plus at short notice and again, he passed and DC2 did St Pauls 7plus this Jan and passed. DC both enjoy the lessons and we're keeping them going until Sept as they enjoy them a lot and they are currently at a very poor primary school as it was all we could get in such a rush!

I am looking at Tayberry for my children, may I know about their prices, please?

Lovetogarden2022 · 15/05/2023 11:52

@manchestermom5 I've got two kids so we use their family discount and pay £40 per session. My daughter (11+) has two sessions a week as well so they do a discount for that. I think for just one session a week it's around £50 but that was a while ago when my friend was using them for her son. Well worth the money for 1-2-1
