We don't have govs in Scotland, but if you look on the website of any Scottish Local AUthority, you'll see their education department's disability equality duty action plan. I'll see if I can find one for you..

Its being implemented at our school now (they also realised they need a CP and H&S policy as well but old Head ahs ignored all legislation- sigh- not one risk assessment even!)

Governors not running it though, SENCO and temp-Head doing it together and they put out an appeal for aprents / Governors / interested aprties to join a committee to further develop an action plan

Although none of the SN aprents I know want anything to do with it as we're all heartily sick of the place (!), but sure thats just our establishment
