Unwell on 11+ day

DD is due to sit her 11+ tomorrow and is quite unwell this evening with a heavy cold and mild fever.
I'm torn as to whether to send her for the exam tomorrow. The blurb from the school just says 'don't worry if your daughter is unwell on the day. Just email the head and we'll arrange for her to sit the test on another day in October.'
Although she's not extremely ill, she's coughing and sniffing Hmm which will no doubt annoy the other candidates and she is very bunged up / headachy / has watery eyes etc and just isn't well.
The school seems to be quite relaxed about having to do it on another date and there's no mention of needing a Dr's note (which is just as well as it's impossible to get one at the best of times, let alone a bank holiday Saturday and I wouldn't usually bother the GP for a cold).
Should I send her or email and ask to do it on the alternative date?

Oh bless your daughter, what rotten timing! Have you done a Covid test? It might sound silly but in my head if it was Covid you definitely wouldn't send her and it might make your decision easier?!

Just sit it if she's up to it. It sounds very relaxed which is not like it is round here. Missing the exam would pretty much be it. The results will be out in October and school choice has to be in by the 31st here.

That's a good point. I think we still have Covid tests. Will go and test!

It seems to have chopped off half my reply. I said I think we still have Covid TESTS

I'm wondering if it would be best just to get it over and done with even if she's feeling rather rubbish.
Or because there seems to be an alternative date easily available, would I be doing her a disservice by making her sit it when she's not 100% and also possibly annoying the other candidates with her barking cough and sniffing / nose-blowing?

My daughter had to sit exams on alternative dates for a few schools - one because she was told to isolate as she was in contact with someone with covid at her school; one because of a clash of dates between two schools' assessments and one because we missed the original date (didn't originally intend to sit for that school) and decided to sit on their alternative date. She got into two of the three. So it makes to difference at all to the final selection and all schools have alternative dates as far as I'm aware.

I wouldn't send her in if she's unwell.

no difference at all*

Actually I remember there was a clash of dates on another occasion as well (she sat for many schools 🫣) and she got into that one as well. So I would take the alternative date and not send her in when she's not feeling well. That puts her at such a disadvantage.

Thank you. She's been coughing (but still asleep!) for most of the night so if nothing else, I think she'd disturb the other candidates. I'm going to try and phone the school first thing to clarify whether they need a doctor's note (no mention of this on the blurb) as if that's needed, I don't think we'd get one (there's no way I'd contact out of hours Dr for a cold and normal GP closed until Tuesday).
