Trying to improve literacy - any coordinators out there?

A bit of back ground - I am Literacy coordinator in a small primary school in a poor area.

We are slightly below national average for our SATs results.

I want to move literacy forward but coming up against some opposition from members of staff who are stuck in their ways.

Can anybody point to somewhere where I can get examples of outstanding, good and satisfactory planning as rated by Ofsted?

Doesn't OFSTED provide examples? Maybe on their website?

You could try posting this on the TES website: www.tes.co.uk/section/staffroom/list_threads.aspx?path=/early+years/
