Admissions Statistics

Hi everyone,

We're looking to move house within London and schools are (obviously) a consideration. Is there anywhere we can see the admission statistics for schools to help us make decisions? I've seen in some admissions policies things like x number of applications, y number of places, but we would ideally know the breakdown of success rate within the bands (such as children with sibling at school, children who meet any faith requirements, and others). Thank you!

Many boroughs will publish this on their website - for example - for each school here, where relevant -

In my borough (Richmond upon Thames) the local authority requires schools to put the stats on their websites, for the last 3 years.

They're only offer days stats though, so don't show waiting list movement (there's always lots of movement).

our LA publishes loads of stats. They have also supplied extra years of data when we contacted them. Talk to the council admissions team.

Be warned they can vary wildly from year to year and are very difficult to predict.
