GL 11+ Exam

We are entering that time to see if we should do 11+ for DS, to see if he can get into selective grammar school. DS just about to go into year 4

He has been tutored by specialist for about 6 weeks who hasn't noticed any difficulties but this is online.

2 weeks ago Dyslexia was confirmed for DS.

The exam the school uses is GL.

We went to see the school - DS wants to try to do it, but I am on the fence

Are there any resources, hints, tips people who have gone through it recommended or does the dyslexia count him out? (He will get extra time)

For information - I am so new to this so not sure if this is relevant. His GL SAS scores at Feb were 115 for Maths and 102 for English- no science. This was pre Dyslexia diagnosis and it was this that indicated a wider problem other than Covid lag

Has anyone got any advice.

The scores, I think, relate to how well you did oin comparison to other student, not the raw score.
