Truly progressive schools in the uk?

I recently did a tour of the Green School in Bali, and I just loved it. I am back in the uk and wondering if there are any truly progressive schools here? (I’m a teacher and dreaming of a new role somewhere doing things in a progressively different way.)

I know about Summerhill, but that didn’t quite excite me like the Green School did.

Any ideas?

In Wales from September the teachers will get to write their own curriculum. I think this is quite progressive.

What in particular did you like about the Green School?

Liberty Woodland School.

I am not 100% sure what you mean by a progressive school as most children make good progress at any school. If you mean non main stream/alternative then these ones might fit the bill?

I’m intrigued by this one after looking it up! It looks great.

I'm not sure where Bedales would fit on this spectrum?

^ having looked at some of the other links, I'm not sure it does ^^

What did you like about the school in Bali? The thing is progressive and alternative seem to mean anything that isn't mainstream, so it encompasses a wide spectrum. Here are a few I have heard of that haven't been mentioned. I don't know much about them though.

Wotton House in Gloucestershire Acorn School, also GloucestershireSands School in Devon
