I want my 5-yr-old to learn to touch type. He is dyspraxic and is finding writing quite difficult. Does Mavis Beacon do a children's course?

These are good. My dc particularly like the BBC one.
BBC Dance mat typing
and
Free touch typing program

There is a kids course online through the bbc website. I haven't tried it yet with ds (5) but am interested in doing so. I shall watch this thread with interest

I have seen the one on the BBC website - my ds1 had a go at it a couple of years ago. However, I would really like to find one that saves the progress the make. It's important that I find something he actually wants to do.
I did Mavis Beacon myself years (if not centuries) ago, and it was so good as it rated your improvement and also concentrated the things you were weaker on. Obviously I'm not trying to turn him into a secretary but I would like something that does the job well.
