Junior Infants in South Dublin

Hello everyone,
I'm considering enrolling my child at Hedley Park Montessori School or Castle Park School for a junior infant next year and I was wondering if anyone could share their experience with these schools?

I'm particularly looking for a small class in a non-denominational primary school and, although Castle Park seems huge, it looks like they are very good academically and in child's development.

We are based in South Dublin and would appreciate insights from any other schools in the area.

Hi @Val80 my two children both attended Castle Park and I love it.

The head of the montessori is magic. (I'm not her!)

CP really isn't huge at all. The pool is ace, the grounds are lovely and you can see the sea from the carpark as an added bonus!

St Nicholas Montessori in Dun Laoghaire (and a new one in Mount Merrion) admits children aged 3 to 12 - I hear great things about it anecdotally (we live in a different part of Dublin) website is smsi.ie/about-our-schools/

I should add, that it is also fee paying, as are the other private primary schools you mentioned.

I've heard good things about ISD too. They don't mention "Montessori" on their website but I have a feeling there is some Montessori base in there. Any thoughts?

Hope you are well. Wondering if you sent your child to Castle Park School. We live in Dun Laoghaire and plan on enrolling our daughter to Castle Park but would love some feedback/ advice on private schools in south Dublin esp Castle Park.
