Best mainstream independent secondaries for SEN?

That really - if you could go anywhere for really good SEN provision in a mainstream independent secondary, where would you go? We'd be prepared to move to make sure our children went somewhere supportive and kind, but preferably in the south of England!

Box Hill school or Bruern Abbey - now until 16.
Do you want boarding?

Gretton in Cambridge or LimpField grange in Surrey

Prefer day, maybe boarding if the offering was exceptional...

Bruern Abbey is boys only.

I think you have quite a lot of choice.

More House isn’t really mainstream though is it?

Gretton in Cambridge or LimpField grange in Surrey

Both of these schools require an EHCP with autism as primary need and Limpsfield is a girls' state school. Not exactly what the OP asked for.

Milton Abbey might be worth a look. miltonabbey.co.uk
