Moving from London to Glasgow

Moving from London to Glasgow. Children aged 15 and 10. So basically there is a need for both good secondary school and primary school. I would also need honest suggestions for good areas to live too. Basically guidance to start with. Any suggestions even if basic would be highly helpful. I have lived in Aberdeen before. So have some idea about things.

Many Thanks

Statistically going on exam results the Glasgow suburbs of East Dunbartonshire and East Renfrewshire perform much better than those in Glasgow City, (except Jordanhill, but that's an odd situation), however it all depends on what your definition of a good school and good area is.
Budget would also dictate where would work for you, as school catchment tends to drive house prices. If you're going to be working in Glasgow there are lots of surrounding areas that would be easily commutable.

Stay west of Glasgow for housing and schools if you can!

Will your eldest have finished their GCSEs? The exam system is v different. Do you have a limit on commute?
