Brighton Girls GDST

Hello does anyone have any intel on Brighton Girls GDST please? In particular, any idea why the intake at pre-prep is so low?

I know there's ongoing strike action but that's a few days here and there and hopefully(?) resolved before school starts in September? I feel like there must be something I'm missing.....

Thanks in advance

The GDST pension strike issued was resolved at ACAS and is no longer an issue in the sense that current staff don't need to leave to protect their pensions.
I'm not familiar with the area but many pre prep schools aren't full in SW London as the state sector is perfectly adequate for KS1/ falling birth rate / families moving out of London.

I'm quite familiar with this school and it has a variable reputation. Some parents rave about it and others have been unhappy enough to remove their girls. Like any school I think you take as you find. It's right for some and not for others.

I don't know the specific reason for low intake at pre-prep but there are some very good nurseries and state primary schools in Brighton - people may well just be saving their money for private later.
