So there i was thinking the christmas holidays may give us all a break - HA! DD much the same. still feels sick all the time. still having huge major temper meltdowns. and tomorrow we go back to school.............. or not...............
i won't be doing the physical dragging in again. it doesn't work. bribery is partially working sometimes - have some set up for tomorrow. we've talked about it - when she's rational. she knows she has to go. i have to go back to work next sunday - can't wait as i'm really not very good at being a housewife/SAHM.
So will she go? i'm not holding my breath!

You have my sympathy - or should that be empathy. DD2 going back tomorrow, in theory!

What does she want to do?

Different school?

Part Time school?

Home Ed?

Must be awful for both of you with her being so unhappy - can't see continuing with the same school being a long-term happy solution TBH.

I do firmly believe that school just isn't the right thing for all kids all the time. The more and more I find out about Home Ed (and the more kids I meet who are being educated at home), the more convinced I am by its benefits.

What about asking the school if she can just go in for 'key' lessons as such, for the time being, and then build up (or down) from there?

What is your DDs main issue with school by the way?
