DC are due to start at a new school tomorrow. Its all arranged. It would of been a good move for them (& me) because its walking distance of our house & on our estate.
Trouble is now H & I are splitting up, the house will be sold & we will most likely (98% certain) have to leave the area, so they will have to start at yet another new school.
Im now thinking it would be in their best interests to remain where they are & not have to go through the stress of mummy & daddy splitting up & starting a new school at the same time. At least at the current school staff & parents know us & will support the dc through things as best they can. I also could do without having to make a huge effort to get to know people & encourage dc`s friendships at the moment. Right now I just want to crawl under a rock & hide from everybody.
I am doing the right thing arent I?

I agree with you.

All the best.

think if you can, leave them were they are as you say it will be a secure ,safe thing for DC's and also for you not having to deal with the whole new friends in playground, don't like my teacher stuff as well as the stress of the break up....good luck to you

Thank you. I just rung the school & told them we are coming back tomorrow. Just got to ring the other school now. Or I might bottle it & email them.

I would keep them where they are and give the courtesy of ringing the other school to explain the situation. Someone else might be able to take the place.
