School recommendations please.

Help!
We are moving to the Peterborough (Hampton) area within the next couple of months which I am really looking forward to, the only worry is my 2 little darlings and choosing the right school for them. I have a boy aged 5 (yr 1) and a daughter aged 8 (yr4).

Does anyone have recommendations for primary schools in and around that area - thoughts please!!!

Hampton Hargate has its own primary (not sure what it's like) or Orton Longueville has a good primary.

Peterborough doesn't have great schools (IMO)but we were going to move there and would have happily sent the kids to Orton I think.

The house we bought is now 12 miles away in Oundle but we're really glad we'll be so close to P'borough - it's great for families and a very 'green' place. You'll love it there I'm sure.
