Do your children come to open mornings?

I know it's a bit of an obvious question/answer- I think it's a yes.

My son is in year 5 at a local prep school, and we are looking at private schools for him to go on to next year (sept 2023).

There is an open morning tomorrow for one, with a headteachers talk etc etc

Does my son attend this too? I'm only asking as I stupidly double booked, he's at his grandparents tonight and coming back tomorrow afternoon!

Thank you!

In years 4/5 my husband and I went to the open days by ourselves. When we narrowed it down to the schools we liked, we took our DS to the open days early in year 6.

I’m taking DS1 to one on Saturday (and DS2 because DH is working). My experience is that there’s a vast range from single people doing an initial scout round to whole families.

DH and I visited 8 schools. We narrowed it down to 4 schools for DD to visit.
