Hi, hoping to hear from parents with children at the Royal in Haslemere? Heard mixed things, but mostly positive. We have a young DS and considering this school for him. Would really love to hear what's it like / junior and or senior schools and for boys too. Thanks! X

Send him to St Edmunds across the road instead. Has been brilliant for my DS; very nurturing but also challenging where needed.

I highly rate the Royal Prep school. Sent my daughter here in year 4. We are now in year 5. Very caring and nurturing environment. Great teachers. Very encouraging. My daughter is thriving at the Royal. No experience of the senior school yet but have met the head who seems very hands on and is driving the school forward. It is a smaller school so very nurturing. There is nowhere to hide. My daughter is being challenged. Go and have a taster day that is what I would recommend.

Very girl heavy. Several sporty boys moving cy5/6 to have more sports and friendship opportunities.

In year 5 we have an equal number of boys and girls.
