Help me remember a pre-meal grace please

Can anyone remember a grace which starts "Thank you for the world so sweet, thank you for the food we eat..." or something similar. DS and DD can't remember it all and have been asked to say grace at a grandparent's birthday party. Any other simple ideas appreciated.

Good food, good meat,
Good God, let's eat!

For every spoon and plateful, Lord, make us truly grateful.

For the food that we eat and those who prepare it, for health to enjoy it and friends to share it we thank you God.

Thank you all so much - lots of food for thought there (boom, boom). Really like the Superman idea, might liven up the Octagenarians!!!

At school they used to say
'Hands together eyes closed' -
and we used to add
'don't forget to hold your nose'

Then it was
'for what we are about to receive...'
and we would finish it
'pigs would refuse'.

And looking back, I think we had good culinary judgement.

We said "For what we are about to receive, may the Lord make us truly thankful, Amen"

One teacher used to say before school meals:

Benedicus benedicat, Amen
