Kings Interhigh

Does anyone have any experience with Kings Interhigh to share please, positive or negative?

No sorry but I’m thinking of it too!

We’re at the end of our journey with Interhigh, it’s been wonderful until the last 18 months

The things I valued for DD, community and personal support seem to have vanished in the latest takeover and a number of her teachers that I rated have indicated they are leaving

It’s now a big impersonal conglomerate and names of the management team seem to change on a regular basis.

For those of us who valued the personal nature of the school to provide support for our vulnerable DC I feel personally it’s no longer the right school

DD has had to report threats from male students of sexual violence which surprisingly (or not) were swept under the carpet and ignored, the student in question was not censored and the member of staff dealing with it didn’t even contact me to discuss what was obviously a serious safeguarding issue and then trivialised it in a session for students on bullying with DD present

I used to be an ardent supporter but it’s become a faceless place that I can no longer recognise or recommend
